At the request of CoMoCo BV, Contronics has developed the CoMoCo motor controller; the world’s most energy efficient and intelligent motor controller.
In close cooperation with Texas Instruments a motor controller has been developed that uses state-of-the-art InstaSPIN-FOC technology (including FAST software encoder and PowerWarp). During development Contronics handled the evolution of the concept and the prototype up to production. The resulting CoMoCo controller can be used for controlling 3-phase AC induction motors and realizes energy savings of up to 80% compared to the current Triac based motor controllers.
