Contronics wins EU prize for reducing food waste with Dry Misting
BRUSSELS, BELGIUM, 23 September 2020 – Contronics Dry Misting has received an award from the European Commission for its research project “Fresh Demo”. With this EU funded project, Contronics has proven that their Dry Misting technology makes a significant contribution to reducing food waste.
Globally, half of all food produced for human consumption is wasted every year. Contronics believes that number must and can change. The Dutch engineering company is working hard on reducing food waste flows by creating more awareness of food waste and offering a practical solution on an international scale: Dry Misting.
Contronics’ ultimate goal with Dry Misting is to cut food waste flows by half.
