Miljoeneninjectie tegen verspilling van voedsel
Meierijstad wordt het Europese centrum tegen verspilling van voedsel.
Fortunately, the new year brings us some good, or even great, news as well! Because over the next three years, a total of nearly 4.5 million euros will be invested in the Circular Food Center in Veghel, a knowledge and innovation center on food waste. The Circular Food Centre is one of the key projects of Regio Deal Noordoost Brabant and will open in 2021 in Gemeente Meierijstad.
We are very proud to be a part of this movement, driven by Stichting Samen Tegen Voedselverspilling, which will let The Netherlands set an example to the world when it comes to circular and innovative food chains.
